About SheDevs
SheDevs is an initiative that aims to address the marginalization of girls in tech communities worldwide. Our community provides resources, training, and access to women, increasing representation and diversity in the technology field. While we advocate for women in tech, our program is open to everyone with a passion for learning.
Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive community that empowers individuals to reach their full potential in Python programming, where everyone feels valued, respected, and encouraged to learn and grow. We believe that technology should be accessible to all, regardless of gender, age, or background, and we're committed to making it happen by providing equal opportunities, breaking down barriers, and fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual support. By doing so, we aim to bridge the gap between underrepresented groups and the tech industry, and to create a more diverse and inclusive community that reflects the world we live in.
About SheDevs: Python Mastery Workshop
Welcome to SheDevs Python Workshop, an initiative dedicated to empowering high school students and young developers in Zimbabwe with the skills and knowledge of Python programming.
This initiative aims to introduce Python programming to high school students and young developers, providing a comprehensive introduction to the basics, syntax, and applications, and building practical skills and knowledge to enable participants to write their own programs and projects. It also seeks to foster a community of Python enthusiasts in Zimbabwe, providing a platform for connection, idea-sharing, and learning, and contribute to the growth of the tech industry in Zimbabwe by promoting Python programming and its applications. Additionally, it will offer resources, mentorship, and support to help participants continue learning and growing in their Python journey, and inspire innovation and creativity by applying Python programming to real-world problems.
